BIP: Migration Narratives: Towards Border Literacy in Europe and the Americas
This is an introductory course in border and migration studies in the context of Europe and the Americas. It will take a comparative, experiential, project-based, and collaborative approach. The course includes lectures, case studies, field trips, meetings with experts, group assignments and discussions, and creative projects. Study in an international environment and collaborate with students from six different countries. The Blended Intensive Program framework includes online and on-site components.
The on-site component will take place in Kiel, Germany Oct. 12-16, 2026.
Here is a detailed timetable:
- Virtual part: Oct. 5, 2026
- Intensive Course in Kiel (physical mobility): Oct. 12-16, 2026
- Virtual part: Nov. 16, 2026
- Virtual part: Nov. 30, 2026
- Virtual part: Dec. 14, 2026 (final examination)
